UnitedNY and a coalition of community organizations went to check out what the 1% is doing with all the tax breaks they are getting and to give them the check for $5 billion they will be getting from the 99% on December 31st
Anyone who’s paying attention can see that it doesn’t make sense to give more money to someone who’s already incredibly rich — and that the $5 billion in tax cuts for the rich could better be spent on school budgets, human services, job creation, or foreclosure assistance, to name a few. But the money is going to go into the pockets of Jamie Dimon and others in the 1% who don’t need it.
