UnitedNY takes to the streets at Bank of America
On the eve of Bank of America’s stockholder meeting, UnitedNY took the streets outside of the company’s Midtown office tower. Following a speakout featuring those affected by Bank of America’s policies, including a Bronx resident who is currently in foreclosure with Bank of America, protestors blocked 42nd Street and were arrested. The arrestees included members of UnitedNY, VOCAL-NY, Align NY, The Strong Economy for All Coalition, and Domestic Workers Alliance.
